Wow what do i want to say about myself well. i like to work in the theatre. building sets and doing tech is what i really love. acting is alright but backstage is where it is at. i am passionate about the theatre and about music i recently stared sighing in the choir. and i was told i have a good voice i just need to learn some of the basics. i am a tenor if you were wondering only because our director won't let men sing alto. not fair sincce we have girls who are tenors.well you are probally tired of me by now so you don;t need to go on i am not a very interesting guy. i am not as down on myself as i aseem to be.

I retired last spring from public school teaching after twenty-four years. I enjoy kayaking and my pets. I have four dachshunds and love them dearly. There are six grandchildren in the picture and three grown children in their twenties and thirties. I like to write and listen to music. If it's a good movie, I want to see it. Just an average guy not pretending to be someone he's not. That's why I won't masquerade as a cowboy or some high roller or fast talker just to find a date. I'm the way I am, and that's all I know how to be. I may be over 50, but try to not to act like it. I'm not ready for the rocking chair yet. (yes the photos are fairly recent) Looking for someone to share the rest of my life with. I enjoy going a lot of interesting places and doing things. Too old to play games. I am a retired engineer and I am really enjoying my retirement and life in general. I am twice divorced and am not interested in repeating a third time. I guess some people are just not meant to be married. So now I am rather cautious about the relationships I form, to be sure the ones I relate to are not expecting anything too permanent. Don't hold it against me if math wasn't your favorite subject in school! Truthfully, it wasn't mine either and that is why I think I have been successful at creating things to help kids understand the math. I have been really focused on my career (probably too much), and now I am ready to focus on my private life....which brings me to....

I space out from time to time just to think on things that might be running through my head (which, mind you, is sometimes a horrific thing to the people that call themselves "normal").

My friends label me as a daydreamer. But I dont really daydream. As I said, I think about things. I'm pretty down to earth. I'm not like those preppy little girls that are like "omg do you think this dress makes me look fat?" or something like that. I'm usually the one saying "Yes. And hunny, you definatly need to work on your thighs, because oh my goodness!" I have fun doing that. Maybe thats not such a good thing, but at the same time, I don't really care. They need to not care if they look fat. People who care will go for whats in your mind, not what your body looks like. Seriously, come on people!

I like to people watch. You can learn alot about a person just by watching them.

I like individuality. Im pretty much know for my individuality and uniqueness amongst my group of friends. Being random is what it's about. I see boredum in a normal life. Those normal people seem so routine. I love to drive around to places and listen to music, even if it means getting stranded for hours in the middle of nowhere. That's fine by me. I'm very mellow. Back when I had a vehicle I'd drive to the top of a hill and just lay on top of my truck and stare at the stars listening to my music. It was awesome. Oh how I miss those days.

I am a very artistic person. I can find art in just about everything. If you were to give me a twig, I could find something to do with it to make it art. I draw, paint, do sculptures, rock sculptures, etc. My main passion is digital art at the moment. I'm currently obsessed with learning new things on photoshop. Someday I plan to be great at it. :)

I like living life on the edge. I'm a real risk taker. Anything to get that adrenaline going and we're set. :)

Well, apart from moving alot ever since I was a kid, everything about me is pretty standard. Likes hanging out with good friends, loves good BBQ, and likes good music. I have been working with CNC machines for 4 years or so.

I consume movies and music like you eat corn flakes!! I'm not even completely sure what that means, but I'm fairly certain it means I like movies and music. I'm currently working on a screenplay so I'd say writing is a big interest of mine, though I don't do it nearly enough. I was born and raised outside of Chicago, IL. I've spent time in Arizona and Wisconsin as well. I don't know anyone in San Diego yet, so I'm here to meet friends and maybe more.

I was widowed 5 years ago. I am an easy going person and get along with everybody. I live in the little town of Bandera, TX. We are know for all of the rodeo cowboys we have here. I moved here from Michigan almost a year ago. I have lived in Jacksonville, N.C., Santa Barbara, CA, and Clearwater, Florida. Between each state I moved bac to my home town in the thumb of Michigan next to Canada. My parents are immigrants from Germany so I suppose that is what put travel in my blood.

I am what you call imperfection. I'm too short to be a model and not intelligent enough to be a brain surgeon. I stutter and repeat myself and when it comes to school...I suck. I am looking for someone real, someone who knows what she wants. I do play games, if I want to play games I will buy a deck of cards. I think I know how to treat a lady, but am not a mind reader. at the point where man starts to look inward he becomes nothing, because once his view has shifted to his own existence he must from then on weigh his being against all else. In the face of everything man is but dust, only to be consumed then expelled, not as a man, but as matter. at that moment all questions become obsolete.
But anyway, i live on a ranch in my own house, i eat Cap'n crunch and i work at sonic and HEB. i play drums in a punk rock band, and i watch movies and smoke cigarettes. i drink on occasion and i play pool at bananas whenever i get the chance. I'm usually prone to being a bit sarcastic so most everything that you might read on hear is just a joke.

I live in the Hill Country and enjoy hiking, tubing, gardening, and cooking on my rustic but commodious ranchito. I have taken some salsa lessons at Ruta Maya in Austin with my 16-year-old daughter, and I love all kinds of music (not country very much). When I have time, I hang at the Elephant Room on N. Congress. I like to travel, having been mostly in Mexico and Central America, but I'm interested in South America, Asia, Africa. I've been to Germany (not my choice in Europe), and I'd like to visit France before English and McDonald's take over. Amsterdam would be fun too. I have a lot of technical interests. My tastes in all things tend to the eclectic: spicy foods, unusual music, weird people. (If you think someone's normal, you don't know them well enough.)

I like to get to really know people, what's important to them, and to use my considerable Libran talents to guide them if possible and thereby progress on my own path. I hope to find a life mate who will grow with me.

I'd like to think I'm sort of a weird conglomeration of sorts. For starters I practice Aikido which is an amazing martial art involving fluidity, timing, and balance to blend with your opponent's attack and throw them away. As a result of this, I'm somewhat of a masochist (I enjoy throwing people and being thrown.) I also know some weapons training (Jyo, Bokken, Tanto, and German long sword.)

I play video games on a frequent basis, but not so much that I don't have a life. I like both science fiction and anime genres, but I also enjoy non-fiction as well.

I try to be down to earth, but it seems as though the weights aren't enough as my mind is quite often somewhere in the stratosphere.

As far as religion goes, I was raised Catholic, but now I don't really subscribe to any particular belief system. Buddhism and Paganism greatly interest me for various reasons, however. On the note of religion, I do enjoy intelligent conversation about various beliefs that I know at least something about, but I will take an occasional jab at a bible thumper just to see how mad they get and how many times they say that I'm going to hell.

On a final note, I'm a senior at Texas State University-San Marcos majoring in computer science. I think technology is fascinating, but I'm almost never an early adopter when it comes to the latest gadget.

I am a silly witty occasionally sharp tongued smartass who can participate in a myriad of discussion subjects with reasonable to admirable intelligence. I read. A lot. Anything. I'd love to share authors or favorite books with anyone who reads as well.

I'm half urban, half rural with a liberal sprinkling of manners and class. Cooking, growing things, reading, porch sittin', learning new things, seeing new places, those occupations keep me sane. The woods, the beach, the symphony, the ballet, the mountains, the great cities of the world, the most remote and primitive hamlets - I love adventures, big and small.

I'm currently addicted to surfing. If you surf, I need to talk to you. Really.

Given my new rural location (see below), I am mostly looking for someone to hang out with and explore. Could just be friends, could end up being physical; I just need to find a partner in crime. However, I'm really only available for potential trouble Friday nights through early Sunday mornings. Of course, this doesn't preclude the possibility of actually jumping in full bore and figuring out how it all works as we go...

Hi, I'm Katelyn. I'm no where near perfect. I'm the most uncompetitive music major out there. I sing, play flute, and play a few chords on the piano. I can be a girly girl or a tom boy. I'm not one or the other. I drink, curse, and stay up way too late. I love massages, hot tea, pillow talk, kisses on the forehead, Alpha-dog feeling, dressing up in prom dresses, rainy days, Boston, and the feeling when you open up new make-up. I don't like practicing, exercising, the color yellow, splinters, TMJ, finding out someone else is better than you in your Major, and vacuuming. I forget how to relax and make plenty of mistakes. I love the ocean, lake, and river. I can knee board like nobody's business-but have so much trouble getting up on the skis. I love jazz. The Moonlight Sonata is my favorite piece. I have good hair days, and I have bad hair days. I PMS like no one's business. I throw the word "love" around-but I've never been in love.

In a few words, I'm perfectly imperfect.

Hard working and easy going. I enjoy the simple things in life. I love anything to do with the great outdoors and am into photography. I enjoy going to the lake or river. I kayak as much as possible. I go to bars every once in a blue moon. And play some pool when ever I'm near a table. Hit me up if you would like to know anything else.

Im J.J. Well i shall describe myself the best way i can... I am the one you can count on.... Sweet, Kind, Caring, Honest and loveable. I have been told I am to nice and need to be more of an Ahole. Well thats not me! I am who I am and I am what I am.

I am somewhat of a workacholic. I work for the Postal Service and have done so for the past 6 years. Prior to that i Was in The U.S. Navy. I have lots and lots of trades and skills. i can work on any kind of engine whether it be gasoline or diesel. Even jet engines... I know how to do plumbing, electerical, A/C, hydraulics etc... I have done alot so far in my life and learned alot. I will continue to do so.

SO in a nutshell i am looking for the one... Is there the one? Well i believe there is but you have to go threw obstacles to find them and have to keep pressing on with that hope of finding them also dont give up!

When I wake up in the morning, I jump out of bed with a spring in my step knowing that I will be on my way to my daytime hobby. I find it amusing that they actually pay me to do what I love. I am a band director, and music is my life. I am a confident soul with a passion for kids and teaching.
Before I get to work/ hobby, I get my 4 year old son ready for day care. I try to find unique ways to wake him up in the morning. Most of the time it is the tickle approach. He usually wakes with a smile, and that is the best way to start my day. He is a lot like me, spontaneous, funny, charming, a little devious, and all around good kid. So far, every babysitter he has had, they have offered to watch him for free.
When I am not at work, you will find me doing a wide number of things. I have been studying, teaching, and training in martial arts for most of my life. On occasion, I go scuba diving. I find it amazing to be under water exploring the underwater world. My all time favorite dive site would have to be the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia. I was blessed to spend almost a month in the outback during the New Years of 2000. I love to travel and have taken several opportunities to visit several states, countries, and destinations all over the world. I am hoping to find someone who would like to eventually travel and explore with me.
On a more local setting, I love going to movies, seeing a theater production, listening to live bands, exploring new and unique places in the San Antonio area, playing tennis ( I stink), playing hide and seek with golf balls ( Golf, another game I stink at), going to museums, and anything that is fun.
I am on this website to find that special woman who has a smile that can melt my heart. Someone who is kind and caring and able to say what she means. I am not a mind reader, so I appreciate blunt honesty. I would like to be with someone who loves hugs, enjoys kisses, and affection. I'm an easygoing guy 99% of the time. I rarely initiate banter (i.e., beyond one or two sentences) with total strangers, but once I'm comfortable with someone, my inner thoughts will reveal themselves via earnest prose mixed with witty repartee.

I'm interested in politics and current events, and very into music. Politically I'm moderate but left-leaning. I think that Obama, so far, is the best president we've had in my lifetime (which began with JFK).

I love my pets, my friends, and my family. I care about what is going on in the country and the world. I respect all people unless they're cruel and uncaring.

I am not at all religious and do not want to be.

I am fair-minded, and I behave in a conscientious manner the vast majority of the time, although -- like everyone else -- I am not perfect.

I work at home but have an extremely demanding job. If it's Friday night and I say that I have to stay here and finish a project, it's not a blowoff; it's the truth!

It annoys me greatly when people throw trash out their car windows. Or when they let their pets roam without spaying/neutering them first.

I played the piano when I was younger -- mainly jazzy stuff. To say I'm rusty would be an understatement.

Here's a random fun fact about myself: I once served for 4 months on a Baltimore grand jury. There are a few stories associated with that experience.

Hey what's up guys? I'm David. I'm a really laid back, down to earth guy just lookin for someone who really fits. I've had heartbreak sure, maybe i'm a fool for putting all of myself out there on the line, but i dont regret a thing and people move on, grow up. intelligence is attractive to mei cant handle dim people, and nice guys who know how to cook, are doing something with their lives, and have gorgeous eyes make my knees weak. and God, if you have a beautiful smile i might not be able to control myself. i have to admit that i now have high standards as a result lame boys, but let me decide, i may just think you're worth the effort. I'm a die-hard optimistic full of blind-faith guy.

Well, I will start with the most important factor in my life which are my two angels who are both girls ages 6 and 9. I am a single mom raising two special needs daughters with a little help and a lot of grit and energy. Aside from the obvious duties of being mommy and daddy in one I am a very free spirited energetic soul. I enjoy all types of music EXCEPT rap!!!! I love to read romance novels and murder mystery books and trilogies or the likes of it a lot and do it when i get the chance.I love playing board and computer games that challeges the brain to constantly think. I love dining at various restaurants trying new things and listening to live music. Even though ill be 33 in October I still get much enjoyment out of places like six flags sea world dr pepper museum schlitterbahn and other various theme parks for amusement and different types of museums. I love watching plays in live theatre and I enjoy the ballet as well since both my daughters have been in dance classes since they were three. I'm a sports fanatic when it comes to basketball and football, love watching games mainly in person but will accept the TV when necessary. Me and my daughters live a simple laidback life as I am trying to teach them that being happy in life is about the quality of what u are surrounded by instead of the quantity of what u have.
