  Northwest Hills Christian School provides a range of educational and extracurricular programs for students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes classes in a range of subjects, such as Bible study, language arts, mathematics, history, science and computer studies. Northwest Hills Christian School also offers physical education programs. It participates in a range of sports activities, including soccer, T-ball, baseball, volleyball, softball and basketball. The school is operated by Northwest Hills Baptist Church, which was established in 1960 and maintains various adults , children's, music, students and food pantry ministries. First Grade - Phonics, reading, arithmetic, writing, penmanship (manuscript and cursive), spelling, poetry, Bible, science, history, music, art, PE 3-Year Preschool - Children learn the alphabet, counting to 30, health, manners, safety, science, the Bible, art, music and free-play.4-Year Preschool - Phonics, (alphabet sounds, blends, words), reading writing, number concepts, from 1-20, poetry, the Bible, art, music, and free-play.Kindergarten - Phonics (letter sounds, special rules, blends, words), reading, numbers, counting and number concepts to 100, number sequence combinations, addition and subtraction, telling time, writing, penmanship and computer science. Second Grade - Reading, phonics, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, penmanship (manuscript and cursive), Bible, music, U.S. History, science, arithmetic, art, PE and computer science. Third Grade - Reading, arithmetic, gram mar, penmanship (manuscript and cursive), Bible, science, U.S. History from a Christian perspective, PE and computer science. Fourth Grade - Reading (character building patriotic stories, vocabulary, and speed reading), spelling and vocabulary (30 words per week), penmanship, English, History, Science, Arithmetic, Music, Art, Poetry, Bible, PE and Computer Science.
